20TH MODEL RAILWAY EXHIBITION
For 2010 we shall be holding our Model Railway Exhibition at Wadebridge School, Gonvena Hill, Wadebridge a little earlier than previously, in October. It will be open from 10:00am until 5:00pm on Saturday, 2nd October and from 10:00am until 4:00pm on Sunday, 3rd October 2010.

An overall view of the Main Hall part of the show.

As before, the exhibition is being presented in association with World of Model Railways, Mevagissey.
Admission charges are:
Adults: £3.00, Senior Citizens £2.00, Children £1.50, Family ticket (2 adults and up to 4 children) £8.00.
There will be numerous layouts of various gauges, trade stands and refreshments throughout both days.
Ample free parking.

For 2004 we introduced a Children's quiz, which seemed very popular, so we repeated it in the following years and will have one again in 2010, with a suitable railway prize, generously donated by World of Model Railways, Mevagissey.

The Wadebridge Loco Group first held a Model Railway Exhibition in Wadebridge Town Hall in 1991. For several years this continued with the Group raising funds to restore the locomotive. In 1998 we wanted to expand into a larger exhibition so, for the first time, the exhibition was held at Wadebridge School and continues to be held there to this day.
To make the exhibition even bigger for the Millenium Year it was extended to two days, which was a success so two day exhibitions followed in 2001 to 2009, and will be so again for 2010. This has been helped by sponsorship from World of Model Railways, Mevagissey.

All profits go towards the maintenance of 34007 WADEBRIDGE, returned to steam in October 2006 after 41 years of lying idle.
