2005 Exhibition
Another successful exhibition was held over the weekend of 19/20 November, the 15th that we have held. The exhibition was opened on Saturday morning by the Mayor of Wadebridge who must have liked what he saw a lot as he returned for another visit during Sunday afternoon.
Once again we held a quiz for the under-16s, designed principally to get them looking more closely at the layouts. There were nine correct entries which were put into a "hat" (in reality, a cardboard box) and the winner, William Keates age 6, was drawn from them.
Below are some photos from the 2005 Exhibition.

Wadebridge
One of the stars of the show was this fine 7mm model of 21C107 Wadebridge, as built with the square cab and resplendent in Southern malachite livery.

Not only railways require modelling as people need somewhere to live!

Odds and Ends
Andy Jones' "Odds and Ends" layout features quite a lot of water, as is usual with Andy's railways!

"Tintagel" travelled down from Sheffield and featured this fine model of Wadebridge.

Treneglos
"Treneglos" is based on the old Tresmeer station, and here 34007 Wadebridge waits in the down platform as 34008 Padstow enters with an up train

The Oval
A regular at our exhibitions which is always popular with the youngsters is "The Oval", a Hornby Dublo 3-rail layout.

Wiveliscombe
"Wiveliscombe" is a 4mm recreation of the station on the Barnstaple to Taunton line.
Wiveliscombe
One clever feature of the layout is the way the road on the backscene continues from the road modelled on the baseboard.
