2007 Exhibition
Another very successful exhibition was held over the weekend of 10/11 November, despite losing a couple of layouts a week before the event!
Once again we had a quiz for the under-16s, designed principally to get them looking more closely at the layouts. This year there were more entries returned than ever before and with ten children answering all the questions correctly and only one prize, a Hornby Goods Set donated by World of Model Railways, Mevagissey, we had to have a draw for the winner once more. The winner was Emily Key who was in the hall to receive the prize, and generously said her brother could use it too.
Below are photos of some of the exhibits at the 2007 Exhibition.

Wadebridge
An overall view of the Main Hall part of the show, shortly before opening time.

Stephen Austin
Stephen Austin, the well-known railway author, brought his stand of Southern memorabilia.
Layout
Cecil Newby likes big toys! This layout featured mainly American style stock making lots of noise and smoke!

Layout Layout
The Hornby Railway Collectors Association's Vintage Hornby 0 Gauge collection is a reminder of what many of us started with. At two o'clock on Sunday afternoon a new record was set here when a goods train was hauled by no less than ten clockwork engines!

Layout
John Bowler's Penewarnick Quarry is a small H0n9 layout and shows just what can be achieved in a small space. John was never short of an audience during the show.

Layout
Low Burnham, owned by Stuart Morris, is an 0 Gauge model based on the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway.

Andy Jones is another regular visitor who brings a different layout each time. This year he brought Newburn, a layout with a little less water than we are used to from him!

Last year Paddy Ryder brought his N Gauge layout 'Spirit of the Great Western', but by this year it had become 'Spirit of the Southern'. A great improvement!

John Ferrier is another regular whose layout uses old Hornby - in this case the three rail 00 Gauge Hornby Dublo equipment.

Penhallick was at our Exhibition in 2003 and asked if they could return again this year. In the meantime it has grown another four feet beyond the buffer stops (right).

Craft Made Signals
Spencer Robinson had a display table of his hand-made signals in various scales.
Rosencombe
Edwin Adcot was demonstrating what can be done with whitemetal castings.
